Animal Information Card- Add velcro to the back of the pictures on p. 10 and in the information sheets on p. 9. velcro can be added to the picture holding sheet on p. 11 (you may or may not choose to use this). Students will read the question and pick out the card that answers the question.
Dr. I need- velcro will need to be added to the back of the items and to the graph on p. 11. The dr. will pick the item they need and place it in the sentence strip. Then they will repeat the sentence as best as they can to their nurse.
Dr. Report- the dr. will color in the smiley or sad face
Your pet needs- velcro will need to be added to the back of the items and to the holding graph (one on p. 13 and other on p. 16) and pictures. Dr. will take picture and place items of what things need to be done to make the animal feel better.
Sign In Sheet- children will write their name with wet erase
Vet phone card
Dr. Badge- child will write their name with wet erase.
Prescription- Dr. will circle the dosage and refills to give the patient. They can sign their name at the bottom
Receipt- Dr. will circle the price and sign their name at the bottom.

Post Office
Directions: Print cards on cardstock and laminate. Cut apart. Name tags (p.16) can be put on a lanyard and students can write their name on it.. Open and Closed sign fold in half and laminate. Can place ribbon through open/closed sign to hang. Size cards and item cards p. 7-8 can be placed on the shelf to show where items go or can be placed in a pocket chart to show post office words. P. 9 has a mail sign that can be placed on a container to show where the mail goes. The stamps can be used to attach with tape to envelopes.
I want picture prompt p. 10-…students will pick the number of stamps and the child counting the stamps can use the ten frame to count them. The size ones can be used to show what size box or envelope the student wants. The pictures to be placed on the sentence strip will be attached to the grid on p. 10 and 12..
p. 15 has a mail box picture that can be attached to a paper bag or box for students to place mail in.

Bakery
This is great for an early childhood special education classroom. It is simple and gets kids talking and counting. Different levels for requesting items and making a receipt. For more information visit here.

Directions: Print cards on cardstock and laminate. Cut apart and place flour, sugar and baking soda on containers. Place other price cards on items. Baker signs can be put on a lanyard and students can write their name on it. Bakery sign cut bottom off. Open and Closed sign fold in half and laminate. Can place ribbon through bakery and open/closed sign.
What would you like? Students can check off what items they would like.
Receipts: 3 different ways to use. Students can tally the cost or add velcro to p. 10 or 11 and students put the items that were purchased on the page or in the ten frame. and then count the items up. Students can write the number or velcro the number on.
I want picture prompt…students will pick the number and item of what they want and show or if they can repeat the sentence to the baker. P. 15 can be used with p. 11-12 receipt. Students will put the items they want in the grid and the baker can take those and place them on the receipt to make for easy counting.

Christmas Toy Store
How to Use: All items will need to be printed on cardstock and laminated.
You will need to find some of the small items that there are pictures of and boxes and bags. If you have other items you would like the kids to shop for you can take pictures of the items.
Toy Store Signs (2 options)
Open/ closed is to be folded in half and can be flipped. You may choose to add ribbon to it to hang it.
Requesting Card- Print, laminate, and cut out cards and items. I want the item and choose if they want it in a bag or box and if you have multiple color boxes and bags available you can have students pick the colors for that too.
Toy Store phone card
Name Badge- child will write their name with wet erase.
Receipt-child will circle the amount of items that they packaged.
