I did this lesson with my 10th grade students and they were so engaged and learned a lot!

Students are to go to each station (4) and become an expert on Aside, Monologue, Soliloquy, and Dialogue. Then, they are to go back into the play to locate an example of each speech and fill out the worksheet to go along with the textual evidence. Worksheet includes questions to get students to really analyze speeches.

*TIP: Have post-it notes at each station for students to make comments and stick to the posters to hint to the next group of where the speeches are located, who said them, definitions, etc.
