Begin this integrated lesson by reading ‘A Letter to Santa’ which is the perfect lead-in to having students write their own letters to Santa! Make it easy on yourself using the graphic organizer and Christmas writing paper in color or black & white.
There are also worksheets for finding the rhyming words in ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ and making a list of opposites. Plus, you’ll get sixteen Christmas playing cards with matching word cards to play Memory and Alphabetizing games.
Besides all of that, every student will want to be on your NICE LIST when you teach them how to draw Santa! Rather than coloring a ready-made picture of Santa teach your students how to draw him! Just follow my step-by-step instructions with pictures to create the Jolly Old Elf himself! The best gift you can give your students is having some basic drawing skills.
The lesson has all of the work done for you!
Please take a moment to leave your feedback. I’d love to know how this lesson worked for you. Thank you!
