Here’s a little tip on how to draw a caterpillar with very “squishy” sections.
I saw it in a book years ago, and wish I could credit the genius who thought it up. It’s a great way to make a pretty realistic looking insect.
• Drawing paper
• Watercolor paint
1. Make or print guide lines. Draw the caterpillar as shown.
2. Trace the lines with a crayon. Press hard to make thick lines. This will help to keep the paint from running together.
3. Paint with watercolor paint.
