Did you ever try to draw a room and it just didn't look right? Investigating one point

perspective can be a great learning tool for understanding how objects farther away appear smaller. Follow my drawing guide of seven steps for a basic understanding of

how to draw a room.

In addition to the drawing outline, I have included:

* Picture books which illustrate great perspective drawing

* Questions you might ask yourself when drawing rooms

* Drawing challenges

* National Standards for the Visual Arts and suggested projects

* A simple materials list for completing project
