A Drawing Conclusions and Making Inferences Game that can be used every year!
Divide the class into groups of 3-4.
Give out the top secret graphic organizer (front and back). Students will use this to write down their conclusions.
Explain to students that they will travel around the classroom to the different rooms and open the manila folders to read the profiles and the scenarios of the characters.
Then explain that they will have between 4-6 minutes in each room to read the profile card on the person, the scenario, and to fill out the section on the graphic organizer for the room they are in at the time. (*The Time may have to be adjusted based on your classes needs.)
When their time is up, they will move to the next group.
When students reach the place they initially started, have them report out for who they think has the report cards, and why?
Last, the teacher will take the game answer key out of a Top Secret envelope and tell the class who had the report cards. ** You will need to create your own Top Secret envelope.**
