This lesson will introduce students to Hatching and how to line can be utilize to create value. This project is great for the beginning of the semester to teach value with line - the utilization of the photos and light-tables/Windows relieves the focus from accuracy and pushes it towards value. Students get a boost of success to help propel them into observational portrait drawing later on. My Drawing 1 kids love this one! And with video tutorials/demonstrations, it's even easier on you!
