This lesson can be used to guide your instruction as you teach your students how to draw points, lines, rays, and segments. The students are engaged thoughout the lesson by using whiteboards (or completing a Graphic Organizer) as the teacher models. The children are also given multiple opportunities to share what they have learned with a partner. By the end of the lesson, the students have experienced the learning in a variety of ways: hearing the information, reading the information, drawing, writing, and sharing what they have learned. I have also included a printable independent practice created to reinforce the instruction. This printable is available by clicking the link on the first slide.
