This rubric is designed especially for drawing projects in the visual arts classroom. This non-additive rubric allows the teacher to circle which attributes are evident in their student's work. Categories in the rubric include: shading/value, proportion/contour lines, creativity/problem solving, time on task, care of materials and other/extra points. In addition, a section is added for examples of both effective and non-effective work in addition to teacher comments. A critique section is also added that asks students which attributes they believe are present in their artwork.
