Description

This resource includes a brief PowerPoint presentation for Dred Scott v Sanford and a more-detailed PowerPoint presentation for Plessy v Ferguson.

This resource also includes 4 interactive notes pages with vocabulary words pertaining to the landmark Supreme Court cases Dred Scott v Sanford and Plessy v Ferguson and 2 interactive notes "case study" pages. (I've also included completed versions of the vocab notes pages.)

This resource would be appropriate for a middle or high school-level American Government or United States History course. I've used this resource with students who struggle with note-taking and organization skills. I have also used this resource as a test-prep/study guide tool for my United States History students. This resource could also be used as extra credit work or used as a "sub day" activity.

No prep is needed as links are included. I have also included links to videos and supplementary materials and lessons I use with my students when I teach both cases.
