Pass out equal amounts of CVC cards (coins) to each player. The children will have their
cards in front of them. Each child will add one coin (CVC card) to the pot in the center of
the group. They must read the card before they can place it into the pot.
The children will then spin the Dreidel and follow the directions on the Dreidel. As they
add to the pot they must read the words on their cards. I just have the children read the
cards that they are putting into the pot and not what they take out. You could adjust the
game to make them read all of the cards put into or taken from the pot. Each time a player
rolls a Gimel the players will each need to add another card to start another pot.
Play continues until one or more players no longer has cards to add to the pot. The player
with the most coins (cards) is the winner.
