A THERAPRO ORIGINAL! The Drive Thru Menus Exercise Programs were developed by Tere Bowen Irish, an occupational therapist, with almost 30 years of experience in pediatrics and mental health. The programs are intended to provide engaging and meaningful exercises in situations where time is limited, in much the same way that drive thru restaurants can provide food for those without much time. They are ideal for classroom activities. Designed to help teachers incorporate movement into the foundation skills of literacy, math, science and social studies. Students chant old and new rhymes while participating in fun exercises. Each of the cards provide: 1. A script for leading students through each activity 2. A clear description of each exercise 3. Variations for each activity. 4. Three to five therapeutic purposes for each exercise The Cards will assist children to reinforce the concepts and movement patterns of the exercises.
