Product Description

This dry-erase multiplication chart tapers down through multiples of 1-12 and has an experiential hands-on learning element to help struggling children problem solve and work out their times tables.

This is an ideal addition to distant learning, home schooling and home work as it allows for repetition and can help children "see" patterns, within the multiplication memory chart.

It has been made specifically for right brain learners and visual spatial learners who learn better through visually appealing, bright, fun, hands-on activities. Rather than traditional work sheets, the dry erase chart allows for mistakes and corrections to be made.

This also includes cloud groups to help children "see" the multiplication. The cloud groups can be used as a visual and hands on tool, to help children multiply. They can either draw items or dots in the clouds and add them up to work out any answers they get stuck on, or they can use physical items such as pom-poms, pebbles, counters, twigs or similar.

The multiplication chart is colour-coded with bright appealing colours for each number, which triggers the visual memory when encoding and storing information. This benefits VSL's and right brain children who learn predominately by visualising whole significance. This means that children struggling with multiplication have another aspect that may help them memorise the answers, and relate certain numbers to the colour.

Further, the style of this chart allows children to "see" patterns across and down the memory chart. Rather than seeing multiples alone, they are able to learn number patterns and rules that fall across the whole spectrum from 1-12. This further helps with the ability to problem solve and learn rules relating to multiplication.

All in all, this is great practice and a handy tool to give to children when practicing at home.
