SPANISH TEMPLATE. This worksheet is used as an anticipatory set for a third, fourth or fifth grade lesson about Earth's movements, the sun, or changes/patterns in shadows. Upon beginning the lesson, students answer the true/false question and give their reasoning in the "antes" space. A poll is taken to see how many students in the class thought true and how many false. Each student records this number. The same process is done for the remaining questions. At the end of the lesson, the questions are revisited, answered (in the "despues" space), and again the class is polled. This is a good pre and post-assessment for individual students, as well as for the whole class. An extension activity would be creating a before/after bar graph of how the students answered the questions.
