This C3 bilingual (Spanish/English) activity addresses the overarching question: What does liberty look like? Students are asked to support their claim with evidence.
There are four subquestions (one from civics, geography, history, and economics) that students will answer, in relation to a topic that the teacher assigns. They are as follows:
1. Civics: What is the line between liberty and responsibility?
2. Geography: How does liberty change from place to place?
3.History: When did Americans gain their liberty?
4.Economics: Does more liberty mean more prosperity?
An example topic could be The Civil War, Industrialization, Westward Expansion, etc.
