This vocabulary exercise will expose students to new terms and allow them to connect those terms to their prior knowledge. Students will define computer/Internet/graphics terms based on how they are used in computer related fields and then offer an every day definition of the word. For example, students must not only define RAM as Random Access Memory but also identify it as a horned animal that lives in the mountains. Linking the new terms to objects and concepts students are already familiar with will give students a great way to remember the new terms. Offered in doc format to allow you to add/remove/edit terms as needed to fit your class and assignments.
