Confession: I'm a music teacher, but my own child is in kindergarten and needed extra practice with his sight words so I adapted a game I use in my room for him. He loves it and its a great way to get kinesthetic learners more engaged.
This set includes 27 sight words. It is all 3 Duck, Duck, Sight Word! decks in one file. A benefit of this bundle is that you can pick and choose which words to include in a deck for play plus save a little money. If you know the student you are working with is struggling with "we" and "me" and "my" then you can include those 3 plus a few they know well to help encourage them.
How to play: This is a card game. Players take turns drawing a card off the top of the deck. If a duck is selected they shout “duck” and put the duck in the discard file. If a word is selected the player that drew the card must read the word and then find the matching word hanging in the area.
You might be able to use this as a center but you could also throw it in a baggie and send it home for extra practice for at home fun.
