Product Description
Generalizations:

Dust and other particulate matter is constantly falling over the earth. Some of it is caused by natural phenomenon and some by the activities of man. The human body can tolerate a certain level of dust but this level has limits.

Objectives:

Your students will be able to measure the amount of particulate matter falling in their neighborhood. They will be able to translate this information into the number of tons of particulate matter that fall in one month over a square mile of their neighborhood.
