Produce an infinite number of decimal quiz questions in one easy to use file!
This easy to use Excel file can be used to produce a 20 question Decimals Quiz consisting of randomly generated equations based on criteria set by you.
The questions are divided into two sets, so you can set differing levels of difficulty if desired.
Simply select the desired criteria:
* Select the minimum and maximum values used for your quiz
* Choose additions, subtractions or a combination of both
* Allow or disallow negative results
* Set the number of decimal places used (1 or 2)
With infinite combinations of questions, it is easy to produce tests suited to different abilities. Once you have set your criteria, you can print your quiz (and answer sheet if necessary). Need another set of questions? Simply press F9 on your keyboard to refresh the sheet and generate a new set of questions, with or without setting new criteria.
An invaluable tool for assessing students' ability with decimals, you'll want to use the Dynamic Decimals Quiz over and over again.
Technical Bits: You don't need any technical ability at all to use this file. You'll need Excel to open it. It has been tested in Excel 2007 and 2010 but should work just fine in 2003 also. I've not been able to test it on a Mac so cannot guarantee it will work as expected on a non-Windows PC. Any questions, get in touch!
