36 cards list important concepts from Dynamic Earth content, including earthquakes, volcanoes, mass movement, glaciers, river processes, porosity, permeability, plate tectonics and rock dating methods. The cards can be used in a game played against two teams of students or in other ways (as a dismissal game, etc.). When playing in teams of two, one student from a group comes to the front of the room and takes a card. The student tries to get his/her group to guess the word at the top of the card without saying the words underneath. The team gets a certain amount of time and tries to guess as many words as they can. This works great as a boys vs. girls game, or different sides of the room, and is helpful if you ever finish a lesson early and need a review game that can be set up in seconds. The terms are aligned to the New York State Earth Science Regents. These cards are part of a larger set from Michellenbrown Store.
