All math facts are not created equal, and sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Even facts that seem easy to adults (like “plus zero”) introduce difficult concepts for young children to understand. These charts offer a basic progression of Foundational and Derived facts, along with the ability to only show a few at a time. This helps students focus on the specific facts you are teaching instead of being overwhelmed with the whole chart.
Another benefit: colors-coding! Groups are shaded to show the relationship between them. For example, when students visualize the “Doubles” as red and the “Near Doubles” and light-red, they are more likely to remember the connection between them.
Includes fact charts for both Addition and Multiplication.
