Looking for an engaging winter music activities for your elementary music lesson that will reinforce aurally identifying the music opposite loud and soft, crescendo and decrescendo? Want it to work on tablets and web browsers? This digital resource is an excellent addition to your winter music lesson plans or anytime you are working on music dynamics. Engaging music game for the entire class, music sub tub or music centers! Perfect addition to your Orff lessons and Kodaly lessons.
The product contains 2 interactive games. One game will reinforce the concept loud/soft and the other game will reinforce the concept crescendo/decrescendo. Each game contains 8 student interactive slides. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on the snowman to hear a sound/melody. They will then click on the word that represents what they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they are correct. Watch their eyes light up as the snowman dances across the page when they are correct trying to catch snowflakes!
An excellent observation or assessment tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
Two assessments plus answer key's are included as a separate document and link so you are able to formally assess students on the concept in a later lesson. The assessment document includes:
★ 2 student tests to be printed in black and white.
★ Assessment key's
★ A sample slide of the student test. Instead of playing the answer just project the slide on your board and access the sounds by clicking on the object using the PowerPoint or the shared link!
