E-Safety and Digital Literacy has become increasingly complex. This lesson helps children to critically evaluate pictures to determine if they are real or fake. During the lesson children will examine a number of images and consider why they have been edited. The students will then have independent or small group tasks to delve deeper into a number of digitally enhanced images.
This lesson is a great way to approach e-safety and digital literacy from a child centred view point. It is a lesson that engages children with the topic rather guaranteeing rich discussion around e-safety. A much better approach than just reciting the 'do-nots' often associated with an e-safety lesson.
