Earth Day is April 22nd and whether you acknowledge it on that day or during another lesson, there's plenty of information students should learn and reflect on about our planet.
This purchase is for three assignments that can enhance any Earth Day lesson. They also go great as reading additions for either Science or Language Arts classes and works great as a substitute teacher plan for middle school students.
1) EARTH DAY TIPS - a reading minute article with questions that help remind students about making reasonable plans in our day-to-day lives that can have a positive effect on the planet.
2) EARTH DAY FROM SPACE - a two page article with questions and a mini-poster sketch design that has quotes from a variety of astronauts who have had the honor to view our planet from space.
3) EARTH DAY PUZZLE PAGE - a vocabulary puzzle with key terms about Earth Day and a sentence writing assignment that tasks students with writing meaningful sentences while also incorporating key terms from the puzzle.
The articles and puzzles are provided as an MS-Word document so you can modify to fit the needs of your students.
Thank you for your purchase and for taking the time to leave me positive feedback.
