This purchase includes two activity sheets (worksheets). One answers questions about Earth Day by students matching their answers to the correct answer. The second sheet is figuring out the answer to a silly riddle by answering correctly. Students are solving order of operations problems on each activity sheet. These are somewhat complicated. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and exponents are within these problems. There are no division or fractions and all problems are positive or negative whole numbers. Most of these problems have at least 3 steps to complete. The same numbers are used in the problems so that students can see how important order and parenthesis are to solving correctly.
You may make copies for yourself this year in in years to come, but you may not make copies for others. These are created by me and if you find errors, please contact me and I will correct it and you will receive information on how to download a corrected copy. My version of "Earth Day-Order of Operations 2" is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution International License. I hope that you and your students enjoy this activity.
This contains the same activity sheets as the "Earth Day-Identifying Fractions", "Earth Day-Order of Operations 1" and Earth Day-Algebraic Equations". They look almost identical but the problems have been changed. If you have a multi-level classroom as many of us do, they can be very helpful for lower to upper students.
Thanks for your purchase.
