Peeps and jelly beans are a traditional candies for Easter. These candies are perfect to use for center activities in the classroom. Here are four different activities that your students are sure to enjoy.
Jelly Bean Sorting Activity – Pass out a baggie of jelly beans to each student. Students will sort the colors on the sorting mat. Then, complete the sheet with the tally marks and questions. Students can color in the jelly beans on the graph.
Stack It and Graph It! Activity – Students will see how many Peeps they can stack. (Use the stacking mat.) Record each try, up to five tries. Then, record scores on the graph. I used the bunnies because they are flat and easier to stack.
Jelly Bean Roll and Cover and Bump Games – These board games are fun for learning addition facts. Instructions are provided.
