One of the favorite Fall activities my 2-5 year-olds loved to start every September was their own Alphabet Book. The kids just love to “eat the alphabet”! Every week
we added a letter or two and before you knew it they had their own book. They
were taught to follow instructions as each page was done differently: crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints of varied types, stickers, cutting/pasting, etc.
Each sheet was dated which made for plenty of parental discussions and aided in developmental progress reports. The letters were also available for “free time ”coloring or to take home.
