Need to organize your book bins for your guided reading room or your classroom library? These simple, sleek, and easy to use editable labels are exactly what you need!
I created these editable book bin labels with a guided reading resource library in school in mind! However, they're perfect for classroom use as well. There are 100 labels included which allows you to make label 100 bins! If you need more labels, simply save a new file and keep on labeling!
To use these book bins, simply type your level in the circle at the top, list the books in the rectangle, and then type the box number in the bottom right semicircle. You could also type an F for fiction of an NF for non-fiction in the semi circle.
The boxes are designed to fit as much text as you write, so the size will adjust as you type to fit the text. This means you could also add categories in the label instead of a guided reading level. When you’re done, print, laminate if you’d like, and glue, tape, or hot glue the labels to your book bins.
SIZE: If printed “actual size”, the labels measure 5.25 inches by 4 inches. However, if that size isn’t what you need, you can reduce the size by printing at a percentage or 2 to a page! Directions on how to do this are included. However, every printer varies, so be sure to check that these are options you have before purchasing if you plan to shrink the labels.
INK: Let's save that color ink, friends! These labels are all black and white. You can print on white paper, which looks lovely on colored bins. OR you can print on colored paper for some pop OR if you'd like to color code by category or level!
NOTE: In order for the embedded font to work correctly, be sure to download the file and save it to your computer. Next, you’ll need to open the file with a PDF reader. You can download a safe and free one here.
