This collaboration form is perfect for guiding students to discuss their personal response to a question or problem, and then use their group discussion to formulate a group answer.
The text area for the question or problem is editable. Students will need sticky notes for this activity. There are four sheets total (math problem, text-dependent question for ELA, science question, and social studies question).
Students will propose their own answer or solution and write it out on a sticky note. Once they’ve had a chance to fully explain their answer in numbers, pictures, or words, all students will place their sticky note on their respective boxes on the sheet.
Students will look at their peers’ work and discuss their answers. How were they similar? How were they different? What revisions would they make now? Do they agree or disagree, and why?
Together, the group members will come up with a group answer or solution and write it in the “Group Answer” box at the bottom of the sheet. This allows for a presentation of their answer to the class and for discussion about how they arrived at the final answer.
