This resource provides your early finishers with activities to do that are engaging, meaningful, and productive. It also allows your classroom to function independently when you're working with a small group or conferencing one-on-one with students.
Select the style of your choice, display for students, and when your students finish an activity early they can choose what to do next. You could use all the activities on the premade cards, or you could edit the resource to include what you need for your class.
THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES:
-3 editable circle styles (color, black & white, and ink friendly)
-20 different activities for students to choose from: help the teacher, help a friend, read a book, read to someone, finish incomplete work, white board write, play reading games, play math games, write in your journal, free write on any topic, tech time on iPads, tech time on computer, research a topic of your choice, clean your desk, math fact practice, sight word practice, write a letter, create a crossword puzzle, play brain games, and code
-1 editable square shaped style with 12 premade activities that include more explicit directions for what to do when finished early.
IDEAS FOR DISPLAY
-Print, cut, laminate, and use magnets to display the cards. Students do not need to touch or remove the cards, they can simply look at their options, and choose an activity.
-Hang the cards using string, twine, or ribbon and clothespins. Display as a banner.
-Place the circle cards on a binder ring and hang on a hook. This saves you space, and students would be able to flip through the cards on the binder ring to see their options to choose from.
