In this literacy activity, students must match pairs of sentence fragments (or subjects/conjugated verbs, synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary words/translations, etc.) in order to put together a 12-piece grid puzzle.
My students used to call this “the impossible puzzle”. It is very challenging to get ALL of the pieces in the correct places!
This product includes two templates: one that is easy to edit but requires more time to prepare once printed, and one that takes more time to edit and no time once the puzzle is printed. Several versions of each template are included (easy, medium, impossible) so that you can find the level of difficulty that is appropriate for your students and the time frame that you'd like for them to complete it in.
The templates are provided in PPT format and can be opened and edited in Keynote or Google Slides. Download the Google Font "Libre Franklin" (free) to optimize compatibility.
