Product Description
I have created this center to make practicing number order a little bit more fun. In this file you will find 21 different number order puzzles. There are FOUR versions of each puzzle: one in color with numbers, one black and white with numbers, one editable in color, one editable in black and white. This gives you the opportunity to meet the different needs of all of your students!!

Each puzzle consists of a large picture, approx. 7 x 9, that is divided into 10 equal sections. Each section has a number, (e.g. 1-10, 2-20~skip counting, 10-100~ skip counting, etc.) The puzzles have varying degrees of difficulty. But you can make them as easy or as challenging as you wish with the editable versions!!

Puzzle Themes: Apples, School Supplies, Farm, Pumpkins, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread House, Nativity Scene, Pirate, Birthday, Superhero.

Colored puzzles: Each puzzle should be printed out in color. I suggest using photo paper or heavy cardstock. The picture should then be laminated and cut into strips. Your students will have the job of putting the puzzles together using the picture clues and the numbers on the strips.

The pieces for each puzzle can be stored in a legal sized envelope. On the outside of the envelope you can glue the wallet size version of the picture. This will help the students if they get stumped and it is also a great way to help them clean up properly when they are finished.

Black and white puzzles: Each puzzle should be copied on regular paper. You can make a copy for each child. First have the children color the picture. Then cut the picture out. Then have them glue the picture onto a piece of construction paper. (You may also choose to have them keep the puzzle in an envelope to practice multiple times.)

You could also use this version as a center and have it available during math center time. The choice is yours! You can do whatever best fits the needs of your classroom and your students!
