Notes from parents are such a motivating act for students. Every year, I send note cards home for parents to return with an encouraging note for their child on the first morning of testing. It's a great way to give the kids an extra boost on testing day and reminds them to do their best!
This resource includes three
versions of a letter to parents.
The first two versions cover six grade levels and include:
•testing dates (specific to state
•instructions for note cards
•tips for helping their child be successful on testing day
*This letter is editable in the sense that you can insert your own date. The actual wording of the letter cannot be changed.
Version three is a generic letter. Since it is not addressed to parents, it is perfect for sending to other influential adults in your students lives. It also does not reference the type of test or grade level.
