I created these 15 defining and describing worksheets to fill a void in my therapy materials. I love using the EET tool created by Sara L. Smith, MS, CCC-SLP but needed some higher level worksheeets to use with my middle and high school students
1 entire worksheet takes 15 – 30 minutes to complete depending upon student prior knowledge and the ancillary teaching that develops.
Begin by working through the labeling section. I allow my students to use their technology for this if appropriate.
Next we fill in the chart as a group. The answers and their complexity will vary based upon student levels.
Thirdly, the answers from the chart are placed on the line which corresponds with their color. Editing will usually be needed.
Finally, the students each read their definitions aloud. ( Good artic practice)
Items defined in this packet include:
~ electric mixer (baking theme),
~ candle (Hanukkah theme),
~ check (shopping theme),
~ evergreen (Christmas theme),
~ parka (winter theme),
