EFL Write Right is a series of chapters to aid EFL/ESL learners in acquiring handwriting skills. The forming of letters, spelling, basic punctuation, and fundamental grammar issues are addressed in order to produce meaningful sentences and questions.
Chapter 3 - Writing Verb 'to Be' Sentences (27 pages) first looks at subject pronouns and the verb 'to be'. By using pictures from Chapter 1, simple verb 'to be' sentences are constructed. Using capital letters and full stops introduce basic punctuation. The indefinite article (a/an) is also looked at as is the introduction of adding 's' to form plural nouns. Lastly, the writing of negative verb 'to be' sentences is addressed. Ample opportunity to practice is provided. As with each EFL Write Right chapter, several review exercises relating to the acquisition and spelling of the target vocabulary conclude this chapter.
