EFL Write Right is a series of chapters to aid EFL/ESL learners in acquiring handwriting skills. The forming of letters, spelling, basic punctuation, and fundamental grammar issues are addressed in order to produce meaningful sentences and questions.
Chapter 8 - Contractions (21 pages). This chapter introduces the apostrophe and demonstrates its usage and positioning for creating contractions when writing Verb 'to Be' and the Present Simple positive and negative sentences. Reinforcement of these grammar concepts is also an aim. The vocabulary used introduces everyday jobs. Ample opportunity to practice is provided. As with each EFL Write Right chapter, several review exercises relating to the acquisition and spelling of the target vocabulary conclude this chapter.
