What educators are saying

My students loved being able to get creative, write stories, and also remember their lines and spaces with their own unique sentences. We all loved sharing our stories and pictures, too!
My students enjoyed the variety of word choices available on the worksheets and the opportunity to see their creativity through the words and sentences chosen.

This activity is all about learning the line notes of the Treble Clef (EGBDF) while encouraging creative writing and critical thinking skills. Start by telling an old favorite like “Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge” or “Every Good Boy Does Fine.” Then expand out your options. Come up with a new phrase like “Eleven Grey Bats Dove Fast” or “Esperanza Gathered Big Dinosaur Bones.” Show the students their possibilities and then let them make their own sentences!

There are many possible options for this activity pack. Click on the "Preview" button above to see a more detailed picture of what's included in this teacher pack. I’ve outlined several possibilities and some of my favorite uses for the set here. If you come up with another great use for this resource, email me and I’ll share with others!
