As middle school and high school English Language Arts teachers, we will always need a variety of activity response forms so students can dive into analyzing fiction and non-fiction, compose any writing piece from proper paragraphs to fully developed expository, descriptive, narrative and persuasive essays, craft creative writing pieces, and do all of this with their always expanding repertoire of vocabulary words. My goal is to inspire students to trust their thoughts and ideas when connecting their thinking, writing, and vocabulary knowledge. These DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENT RESPONSE FORMS ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS activities not only strengthen young peoples’ mental muscles with higher level cognitive skills and inspire their learning confidence, but also make them aware of the threads that blend these proficiencies.
The objectives for these lessons are flexible for middle school and high school students’ diverse skills and abilities. Teachers may add to or omit requirements to fit the specific needs of their learners. 2. Choose lessons and activities from your own repertoire, from my Custom Categories, or from another place that fits your Core study focus.
3. Use the student response sheet(s) that correspond with the activity.
