This is the first set of a series of close reading passages and reading response sheets aligned to the Common Core State Standards. If you want your students to engage in rigorous instruction that is responsive to their needs, this resource is for you! Each original passage and response activity has been carefully crafted to meet the needs of a variety of learners. Use for homework, classwork, morning work, centers, small groups, whole group, and more! Mix and match the sheets at the end with the text-dependent questions to enrich students who need a challenge!
