ELA Halloween Activities: Using Pictures to Review Literacy Skills
Use these fun handouts the entire month of October to review key language and literacy skills that are aligned to the Common Core.
These can be used during centers, morning work, homework, partner work, small group work, etc. The possibilities are endless!
The student printable worksheets are available in ink-saving black and white, but there are also color task cards you can print and laminate if you want to use them in a literacy center again and again!
These activities cover the following skills:
- Parts of Speech
- Metaphors and Similes
The digital version includes the same content as the printables, but have been redesigned for Google Slides. They can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard and students can use a blank sheet of paper.
