Are you looking for a fun new way to practice content vocabulary in reading and language arts? Are you looking for something that will challenge your students to think outside the box and stretch their thinking?
Look no further. ELA Magic Squares do all that and more!
A Magic Square is a like a puzzle. Each puzzle has 9 squares filled with words and definitions that match up to solve the square. The square is completed correctly when all words are matched with the correct definition and the outside border is completely blank.
The puzzle like component of this activity challenges students to think about the content vocabulary in a different way and helps them build toward mastery. Great for all levels in the classroom, students enjoy using their vocabulary knowledge and puzzling skills to solve the magic square!
