This is a set of concept review sheets each addressing both ELA and math skills. Students often times seem to grasp the skills when they are being taught, but after time passes, gaps sometimes emerge for some. I created the sheets in a consistent format so the students can quickly familiarize themselves with it and are then able to focus on the material and are not trying to continuously figure out a new layout each day.
***THIS IS SEPTEMBER SET FOUR. I also have sets one, two, and three available for purchase in my TpT store. You can also purchase all four as a bundle which is a bit of savings if you are wanting all four sets. (The bundle is equivalent to getting one set free!) :o)
Even though I entitled them “morning work,” they could easily be used at any time during the day for skills review or even a quick-check homework sheet. The goal of these sheets is to offer a consistent spiral review of both ELA and math skills and provide feedback to the teacher for future planning of skills to be taught and creation of small groups as well as feedback to the students and their families to demonstrate progress. In addition to creating small groups, the sheets can be used within small group instruction as well targeting skills that may need extra attention.
Alternately, in addition to printing sheets for my students, I have also projected them on the board for all to see which makes it very simple to review as a class, reteach if needed, and discuss students’ questions about certain skills. There are many possibilities for how to use these sheets!
The set was designed for a five-day school week, but as we all know, sometimes we have to alter that plan due to holidays and other unforeseen circumstances. :o)
There are five student review sheets and five teacher answer key sheets.
Three of the sheets contain five ELA questions and four math questions.
Two of the sheets contain five ELA questions and five math questions.
