Teaching informational text structures can, at times, be difficult and confusing. This product can be used as a reference for the students to turn to and learn from.
There are two pages to this product. The first page is a blank chart with just the text structures and a place for the students to write in definitions, clues, visuals, and examples. With this chart it gives you the freedom to teach them all at once or one at a time. The second page is a completed chart for you to use as a key, or as a glue in for the students themselves to reference back to. This item is a PDF so it can also be blown up and printed and used as an anchor chart.
With my students I usually teach them a few at a time. They glue them into their ELA notebooks.
