Suggestions, tips, and differentiation:
* Differentiation- use either cards with words or for higher students or for a challenge, use cards without words.
* Small group or at a literacy center.
* Whole group using a pocket chart.
* Can be used as an assessment instrument.
* Use the leaves to put in ABC order.
* A label is provided to turn the printable into a file folder game if desired.
Put a matching sticker on the backs of the pieces that go together. When the child is finished, have them turn over the cards to see if the stickers match.
