About this product
Support language development! Sheltered language strategies are teaching strategies that focus on teaching academic vocabulary at the same time as academic content. These types of strategies have been researched and shown to improve student learning, especially for ELLs. Content and language objectives help both teachers and students focus on how students will use language to develop their content knowledge a the same time as developing academic vocabulary.
The content and language objectives in this resource align with Common Core Math Standard 8.F.B.4 The objectives are intended to be shared with students and reflected upon.
There is one content objective provided for the math standard.
There are 6 different language objectives that each relate to the content in the math standard that describe how students will use language to meet the content objective.
