Are your kindergarten or 1st grade English language learners going to take the ELPAC? This resource is to help them prepare for the listening portion of the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California. They can get used to the format of the assessment, as well as practice the skills they need to be successful on the assessment.
There are three parts of the speaking ELPAC:
#1 Students listen to a short exchange between two characters and then answer one comprehension question about the exchange.
#2 Students listen to a story with dialogue and then they answer 3 questions about the story.
#3 Students listen to an oral presentation on an academic subject and answer 3 comprehension questions about the presentation.
