Students will work with 12 Questions where students have to use a "Graphing Calculator" to graph the given polynomial function and determine the intervals of Increase & Decrease of the function.

This EMOJI requires students to have a mastery of:
☑ Using Graphing Calculators and be able to find the "Relative Maximum" or "Relative Minimum" of the given graph [Turning Points]
☑ Using a Graphing Software (ex. Desmos) and recognize the turning points
☑ Write Interval Notations (using Parenthesis) - All intervals are open intervals
☑ Identify the Increasing portion of the graph
☑ Identify the Decreasing portion of the graph
☑ Polynomials of this activity are of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th degree
☑ Some polynomials have 0 turning points while others may have 1, 2, 3, or 4

I use this activity to help my students practice intervals of increase & intervals of decrease on a polynomial function before moving to a more complex functions
I encourage my students to use a Graphing Calculator to identify the turning points.
