### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

✐ This product is a NO PREP- SELF CHECKING activity that engage students in "Multiplying and Dividing Binomial Radicals".

There are Two versions in this activity (6 Questions are the same in both versions)
☑ Version 1: Denominator is a monomial radical (student would need to rationalize a monomial)
☑ Version 2: Denominator is a binomial radical (student would need to rationalize a binomial)

This activity has:
☑ 6 Questions on Multiplying Radicals (See below for more details) - Same in both versions
☑ 6 Questions on Dividing Radicals (See below for more details) [Monomial denominator in version 1. Binomial denominator in version 2]

In Multiplying Radicals, students would need to feel comfortable with:
☑ Multiplying Monomial Radicals (any Index with and without a coefficient)
☑ Multiplying a Monomial by a Binomial (If you're interested in multiplying a Monomial by a Monomial, check out this activity)
☑ Square a Binomial

In Dividing Radicals, students would need to feel comfortable with:
☑ Dividing Binomial by Monomial Radicals (any Index with and without a coefficient) - Version 1
☑ Dividing Binomial by Binomial - Version 2
☑ The need to rationalize a Monomial Denominator (Version 1)
☑ The need to rationalize a Binomial Denominator (Version 2)

Students need to feel comfortable with:
☑ Identify the Prime Factors of any base (numerical)
☑ The rule of the index of the radical in simplifying

There is a need to combine like radicals in this activity. Students must feel comfortable with adding/subtracting like radicals (See this EMOJI)

Students would need to solve the mystery Emoji by following the color key.

I use Algebra II Common Core Pearson Textbook. This activity works very well with Section 6.3: Binomial Radical Expressions

My students are fascinated with an additional coloring option that I have included where they could pick their own 2 colors. They have become very very creative. I am including this option in this emoji and I truly hope that your kids will love it as much as mine have.
