END OF YEAR ACTIVITY | Last Week of School Writing Activity

Are you looking for a nearly FREE, fun, and easy end of year activity to share with your students during the last week of school? This Year Is "In the Bag" end of year closure activity might just be the perfect way to allow your 3rd grade, 4th grade, or 5th grade students to share their favorite end of year memory!

For this end of year activity, students and the teacher choose one item that symbolizes the past school year (it must be positive and kind). Students are allowed to come up with an inexpensive item that they give to everyone or they can simply bring in their symbol/item to show as they share their memory.

You can implement this culminating activity right away with very little work and it will be WORTH the memories you share on the last day of school with your students.

This mini-end of year project includes a written component where students explain the significance of their symbol. If you have 3-4 days left before the end of the year, this activity is perfect for your students!
