This Tip includes a comprehensive study of why market research is important to a new and growing business. It presents the types of business research known as Primary Research and Secondary Research. Primary Research is usually conducted using a survey. A survey can be done online, sent via email, conducted on the telephone or in person, or using a Google form. Secondary Research resources are widely available free or minimum cost. In searching for relevant secondary resources, ask:
